So, this weekend, we shopped...and shopped...then, we shopped some more! After approximately 5 hours of shopping (!), we finally got to a stopping point with the wedding planning. Here is a little of what we learned:
1) most people have no idea what they want when they enter a store-everyone commented on the fact that I knew exactly what i wanted when i got there(can you believe that I knew what I wanted--suprised,right?)
2)I look no older than 21 (I guess I have aged a bit), and Matt doesn't look over 25 (I don't know where she got that, but I guess that bodes well for our futures).
3) 350 at your wedding is a LOT-a whole lot! So, we don't know how many people are coming yet-but about 425 are being invited-anyone got a die-hard formula for figuring out how many people are going to show up (I mean, besides RSVP, that would be too easy)
4) Bridal pictures are all vertical. (this discovery was made AFTER buying the collage frame that was mostly horizontal, oops!)
and...
5) You should talk to your caterer for the 2nd time before you order your tablecloths! I have to call and totally change the order!
So, now, all we need to find are some gold goblets (to match everything else that is gold, NOT silver), order a couple of things online, change stuff with the florist, and find out where everyone lives. Then, I can have wedding showers! No big deal!
