This is NOT our house...

This is not our house, but it looks like what our house will look like in about 3 1/2 months. It is the same floor plan, so we have been using this house to figure out where we want everything in our house. Though we don't even have dirt yet, it has still been fun to walk through this house to see where we might put our furniture and all. Last time we were there, the owners of the house came in; luckily they were very nice despite the fact that there were burgulars in their house (but i guess thats what happens when you don't have locks or even door knobs). and speaking of door knobs, did you know they are pretty expensive? Well, now we know! We didn't upgrade the lighting/door knobs because we want to do it ourselves, but it might take a while!

Soon, we will have our blueprints and our house will shoot up like grass in the spring, but for now, we will content ourselves with the house that is not ours but looks a lot like it! Hopefully, it will give you something to look at AND COMMENT ON (please:) and to which you can return later!

And more wedding stuff...

Yesterday i had my bridal pictures done. Now, I know that 4 months from the wedding SEEMS awfully early, but if you had to choose between standing around in LOTS of petticoats in June or in August (in TEXAS) what would you choose?? I think we will all agree it was a good decision. And if your lucky, you might get to see some of the pictures (as long as you aren't the fiance, right, Neta?).

Still no movement on our lot, but, as soon as there is, Matt is primed and ready for the shot. You will be the first to know, except for us, of course, because we have to go take the pictures.

In other news, its a great time to get mono. I don't have anything else to do.

Its wedding planning time

After many days of planning mostly for the house, it was time to do something for the wedding. Here is Matt in his tux that he picked out. The guys are going to wear brown vests and ties with their "formal suits."

We Picked our Colors

This morning, we made EVERY decision imaginable for the house. Now, it is official and we have to pay big bucks for any changes. So, we better like it all! I think we did a pretty good job! Matthew decided the picture of me with Cheez-it's in my mouth is an important aspect of our decision making-this was while we were waiting for the sales lady to come show us the samples. I will leave it up-just for him.

Here's the first pictures of our house! Not much to look at, but just wait 120 days!
It will be an amazing transformation!

Here's a picture of Matt and I, in case you have fogotten what we look like! Aren't we cute. Matt took pictures of our land last night, and we will get those up soon!

Here we go again...

This is my third go at blogging, but now I have much to blog about! I am getting married and we are building a house, and it is all going to culminate in 4 months! The house should be ready 2 weeks before the wedding (we'll see how that works out) and then we will start our new life in our new home.

Over the next four months, the plan is to host this blog for the purposes of showing the progress on the house and the wedding. Hopefully, we can get a picture of our land (OUR LAND, YIKES!) before anything has been done and walk you through the whole process! Exciting, yes??

But there's more! There will also be information on the planning for the wedding! So, a little for the boys and a little for the girls. Check in periodically and see how this ward-horton merge is going!
